I was truly honored to be Kate & Joseph's wedding florist. Their ceremony and reception was at The Ridge in Asheville NC. If you've been there, you know it's every mountain bride's dream because the views are absolutely stunning.
After hearing about this beautiful love story ( 12 years and going strong! ) I couldn't wait to create the perfect wedding bouquet and venue decor.
I knew the bridal bouquet had to be just as special, with exquisite peonies and garden roses.
Elegant Classic and Wild was the floral theme.

When choosing floral design for the ceremony, I always say go for a beautiful arch arrangement. It will be memorable for your entire life, as under the arch is where the most important vows of your life are made. We used playablanca roses for this wedding arch arrangement. I always associate playablanca roses with being bridal.. delicate, pure, gorgeous, and always the center of attention.

Kate's favorite flowers were peonies, and we were able to get the very last peonies of the season for her bridal bouquet! The look in the bride's eyes was everything to me, when she saw the bouquet. As a florist, these are definitely my favorite moments to look back on.
Wedding Cake Flower Decor
First we placed Gunni Eucalyptus on the wedding cake. It's sage toned leaves are stunning.
Next we added Olive Tree greenery. I love the touch of serenity and peace that olive greens add to any arrangement.
White Spray Garden Roses. These miniature beauties mirrored the rest of the bridal flowers throughout the arrangements.
For the final touch, we finished with blue thistle. Thistle gave the perfect touch of wildness to this cake decor.
